Switchbaks is an outdoor life-style brand focused on inspiring adventurers, thrill-seekers and explorers to Live a Life They Love in the Great Outdoors. Live a Life You Love are not just words on a page, but something we should all strive to do every single day. So many of us get caught up in the craziness of life that we forget who we are and what we are passionate about. Find what inspires you and embrace it. We all only have one life, get out there and live it.

We are not a company that is solely driven by profit. The impact on our environment plays a huge role in our decision making. We are actively taking measures to reduce our environmental impact throughout all aspects of our business. Everyone has a role to play and we hope to leave a lasting impact through our actions.

Our Story

Switchbaks was started by two friends who met while going to college for environmental sciences. We live and breath the outdoors and have a huge love for nature and protecting it. During our time in school we saw that many people didn't understand why certain things are harmful or why they're done a certain way. It wasn't a lacking of caring, it was a lack of knowledge.

We want to use our platform to inspire people, but also bring their attention to issues and the ways they can make a difference. The outdoors is for everybody, but unless everyone starts taking an active role in protecting it, the places we love to explore will be greatly impacted. The more people who make a conscious effort to protect the environment and preserve wild landscapes, the greater the impact will be.
